The WFFA and Tournify partner to propel the digitalisation of Freestyle Football competitions

The World Freestyle Football Association and Dutch tournament software developer Tournify have signed a global agreement aimed at taking the digitalisation of Freestyle Football competitions to a whole new level.

The deal, closed after successfully testing the tool in world-class contests such as the Red Bull Street Style World Final and the French National Championship, will see all official WFFA-sanctioned competitions implement Tournify to compile results and offer both the audience and the participants a reliable source of live-updated information.

Thanks to the agreement between the WFFA and Tournify, Freestyle Football fans and athletes will be presented with easy and convenient access to all statistics and key details of every competition, as well as schedules, brackets and even the list of judges assigned to each battle.

The information will be made accessible in a series of specially tailored websites and in the Tournify App, available both for iOS and Android

Dan Wood, Head of Partnerships at the WFFA, said: “We’re very proud to welcome Tournify to the Freestyle Football universe and add them to our ever-growing list of partners. Digitalisation is an absolute priority for us, and we believe their tool is perfect for the needs of the community. We can’t wait to implement Tournify across all our sanctioned events around the world!”.

Abel Menkveld, CEO of Tournify, said: “We’re extremely pleased to bring our technology to all Freestyle Football players and organisers associated with the WFFA. Together with the WFFA and its community, we’ll continue to customise the software for the Freestyle Football market – we love to see and support this spectacular sport grow and professionalise.”
